AI will always support, not replace, clinical judgement.\u00a0\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Many patient groups worry about data being used inappropriately or without\u00a0 clear consent, so building trust through clear communication, strong safeguards, and genuine patient involvement is crucial.&#8221; Carer of a kidney patient<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<p><strong>Health equity:<\/strong><\/p>\nWe are committed to ensuring data and AI reduce, not reinforce, health inequalities. This requires representative datasets, inclusive design, and co-production with underserved communities.<br \/>\n\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;If the data doesn&#8217;t represent everyone, the science won&#8217;t benefit everyone. Breakthroughs only count if they reach everyone. Our strategy development process was driven by\u00a0extensive engagement with\u00a0people with lived experience of kidney disease, including patients and carers,\u00a0and the kidney researcher community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 100\u00a0people engaged with our online consultation, online\u00a0workshops\u00a0and one-on-one interviews.
